I am Nikita Sotnikov β a game designer, founder of the indie studio Oyster Egg, and author of the Telegram channel A Game Designer's View. This page is my personal knowledge base: it contains everything I read, watch, and study, as well as the tools and templates I create for my own work.
A game designer creates experiences, and experiences are born from emotions and feelings β you won't find them only in textbooks. To convey an experience, you need to live it β therefore, the materials here go beyond the theory of game design and game development. For each material, I try to leave my rating, notes, and impressions inside the pages so I can return and remember the key ideas.
